Privacy policy
The short version: your content is processed and stored on your device. We run no cloud service for it and no app analytics.
Who we are
Easy2See is made by Audrey Tang. Contact: au@civic.ai.
No account
You do not create an account to use Easy2See, and we do not ask for your name or email address in the app.
What stays on your device
Captions, translation, teleprompter scripts, Recorder audio and WAV exports, and Easy2Say conversation AI are processed and stored locally on your device. The developer does not receive this content and does not process it in the cloud.
No analytics or crash reporting
Easy2See does not send app analytics or crash reports to the developer. Sentry, Firebase and PostHog are disabled.
Permissions
The app may ask for these permissions. Each is used only for the feature that needs it, and you can change them at any time in iOS Settings.
- Microphone and speech recognition: to caption, translate and record speech.
- Bluetooth: to connect to supported smart glasses, including Even G2.
- Camera and photos: for features that use them, if you choose to use those features.
- Local network: to talk to your glasses over your local network for features that need it.
When the app uses the internet
Easy2See does not promise to work with no network at all. Some models are downloaded from Apple and GitHub hosting, and update hosting is provided by third parties. These providers may process connection and request information, such as your IP address, under their own privacy policies. We do not control or make claims about how long they keep it.
Exports and sharing
When you export or share a file, such as a WAV recording, to a destination you choose, that destination's privacy policy and settings apply to the file.
This website
This website is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process standard HTTP request data such as your IP address and browser details to serve pages. The site sets no cookies, has no forms and uses no analytics.
If you email us, we use your message and address to reply to you. Please do not send recordings or other sensitive content.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling Easy2See removes the content and settings it stores on your device. Files you exported or shared outside the app remain where you put them, so delete those separately if you want them gone.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
